68-Year-Old Billy Hicks Involved in Lubbock Fatal Collision
Lubbock, TX (Aug. 4, 2023) – On Wednesday early morning, 26-year-old Terrica Dutton of Wolfforth was killed in a CR 6900 pedestrian accident.
Investigating officers said Terrica Dutton was jogging westbound on the north side of the roadway. At the same time, a car driven by 68-year-old Billy Hicks was also westbound on the same road.
Hicks attempted to move over to allow another eastbound vehicle to pass but Dutton was struck with the front right portion of his car.
Unfortunately, Dutton succumbed to his injuries at the crash scene.
Hicks was not injured in the accident.
In the meantime, officers are still investigating the collision.
