1 Dead in Phoenix Motorcycle Accident on Desert Cove Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (October 14, 2019) – A 62-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Desert Cove Avenue on October 10.
Authorities shut down Cave Creek Road, from Mescal Street to Peoria Avenue, for multiple hours during the investigation.
According to the police, Terrence Albright rode east from Desert Cove Avenue. However, he pulled onto northbound Cave Creek Road in the two-way left-hand turn lane. He then crashed with a southbound Dodge that approached the turn lane, attempting to make a left turn onto Desert Cove Avenue.
Responders transported Terrence Albright to a hospital where he died. Police also confirmed that Albright didn’t wear a helmet during the collision.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old female driver of the Dodge stayed at the scene. Police revealed that the woman suffered from impairment. Authorities cited her for DUI before releasing her.
The driver and her two passengers didn’t suffer any injury.
