59-Year-Old Yucca Valley Man Injured in Fatal Crash on Old Woman Springs Road

Yucca Valley, CA (February 3, 2023) On Friday evening, a 55-year-old Perris woman died after a traffic accident at Terra Vista Road.

Authorities say that the fatal head-on crash happened at about 6 p.m. on Old Woman Springs Road.

Reports say that a 59-year-old Yucca Valley man sustained serious injuries in the same head-on accident.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department says that the woman was in a southbound Chevrolet HHR that collided with a northbound Kia Soul. The Yucca Valley man was driving the Kia.

Paramedics transported the female driver to Hi-Desert Medical Center, where medical personnel’s pronounced her dead. Meanwhile, medics transported the Yucca Valley man to Desert Regional Medical Center.

Deputies are investigating the fatal crash and have not released further information at this time.
