17-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Struck by Vehicle near South Reservoir Street
POMONA, CA (September 21, 2018) – A teenager was hospitalized late Friday evening following a pedestrian collision on East Mission Boulevard. The identity of the 17-year-old victim was not immediately released.
According to the Pomona Police Department, the incident took place at about 11:00 PM near South Reservoir Street. Responding officers found the boy down in lanes of traffic after he was struck by a vehicle.
The victim was treated at the scene by responding personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, before he was transported to a local hospital. There, he was listed in critical condition. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the crash site and cooperated with investigators.
