Teenage Boy Injured in Bicycle Crash on North Avenue [Lompoc, CA]

1 Airlifted after Lompoc Accident on North Avenue

 
LOMPOC, CA (July 9, 2020) – Wednesday afternoon, a 14-year-old boy suffered injuries in a bicycle crash on North Avenue.
 
According to reports, a vehicle struck the teenage bicyclist around 3:15 p.m. The crash occurred on the 200 block of West North Avenue, Sgt. Bryan Dillard revealed.
 
After the crash, the bicycle rider ran away from the area. However, the authorities found him a block away.
 
Furthermore, the authorities requested a Calstar medical helicopter to airlift the boy to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
 
The Lompoc police currently investigate the cause of the injury crash.
