Oceanside, CA (September 26, 2020) – Friday night, a 17-year-old driver suffered a head injury after a suspected DUI car crash on North River Road.
 
The Oceanside accident happened around 9:30 p.m on September 25.
 
Police say the teenager was driving a Toyota 4Runner on North River Road when it appeared a Ford F150 driven by a suspected drunken driver crossed into the opposite lane and caused the collision.
 
The teenager was ejected from his vehicle and suffered a severe head injury. He was unconscious when an ambulance arrived and had to be flown by helicopter to a hospital.
 
At this time, the Ford driver, Jose Orozco, 33, of Vista, is facing charges of suspected felony driving under the influence.
