GILBERT, AZ (September 26, 2019) – A 15-year-old girl died in a bicycle accident on Greenfield Road on September 24.
 
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the trail crossing on Greenfield Road between Elliot Road and Guadalupe Road.
 
According to the Gilbert police, the female bicyclist succumbed to injuries after a car hit her.
 
Authorities are still investigating the crash. However, they ruled out speed and impairment as a factor in the collision.
