Driver Arrested in Deadly Collision West of 5 Freeway
Los Angeles County, CA (July 4, 2024) – 19-year-old Taylor Roberson of Redlands was arrested following a The Old Road fatal crash early Wednesday morning.
It was about 12:30 a.m. when the collision happened south of Parker Road, west of the 5 Freeway.
Troopers said a northbound Toyota Camry driven by Roberson on The Old Road lost control at the curb and crashed into the sidewalk. The vehicle then struck a tree and a streetlight.
The car then was cut in half and caught on fire.
Two men and a woman riding in Roberson’s vehicle were thrown from the car and died at the scene.
Roberson was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses who helped Roberson said she was understandably distraught and that one victims was her cousin
The authorities arrested Roberson after they determined she was under the influence of alcohol.
