4 Hospitalized in Tragic Bruceville-Eddy Auto Accident on Highway 7 near CR 436

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, TX (May 13, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, Taylor Defrees died in a brutal traffic crash on Highway 7 near CR 436.

The incident happened at around 3:55 p.m. on Highway 7 near CR 436.

According to authorities, a westbound Chevrolet Equinox traveling on the wrong side of the roadway collided with a Ford F-150.

Moreover, responding paramedics pronounced the Chevrolet driver, 29-year-old Defrees, dead at the scene. Then, responders transported four occupants of the Ford, Tyler, Alicia, Kylee, and Remi Lopez, all with serious injuries.
