Cynthia Jackson Involved in Accident on Yonezawa Boulevard
Moses Lake, WA (November 29, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, Tawny Guenther, 36, of Spokane, lost his life in a State Route 17 pedestrian accident.
The fatal traffic crash took place just before 1 a.m. north of the intersection with Yonezawa Boulevard.
Officers say, Cynthia Jackson, 58, of Moses Lake, was in the left lane of the freeway when a person appeared in the middle of the roadway and she didn’t have time to stop.
Sadly, Tawny Guenther died at the accident scene.
“The driver was not cited. It’s been determined that she was going the posted speed limit but every once in a while things like this just happen. She looked up and suddenly there was a pedestrian in the roadway.” says WSP Trooper Jeremy Weber.
In the meantime, officers are investigating the cause of the accident on Yonezawa Boulevard.
