21-Year-Old Passenger Tamika Davis Dead in Fresno Rollover Crash

Fresno, CA (October 6, 2020) – On Sunday, 21-year-old passenger Tamika Davis died, while police arrested 21-year-old Catherina Monson in a rollover crash on Highway 41.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the crash at around 6:20 p.m. on northbound Highway 41 at the Highway 180 transition.

Moreover, investigation officers said Monson was driving a Buick LeSabre traveling north on Highway 41 with Tamika Davis, 21, in the passenger seat.

Monson missed the transition road to Highway 180 and tried to transition unsafely.

Then, she lost control of her car and crashed into the center divider of Highway 41. The impact of the crash made the vehicle to overturn and land in the northbound lane.

The authorities pronounced Tamika Davis dead at the scene of the rollover accident.

Meanwhile, police arrested Monson the scene on suspicion of felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

Apparently, both women were not wearing their seat belts in this fatal Fresno crash.

Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the families and friends of Tamika Davis.
