Simi Valley Man Identified as Man Killed in Rollover Accident near Short Road

 
MARICOPA, CA (July 3, 2019) – Authorities identified 51-year-old Syed Kashif Ali Shah of Simi Valley as the person killed in a rollover crash near Short Road, Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Highway 166, at about 1:45 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a silver Toyota 4Runner left the roadway and ended up in a field on its side.
 
The force from the impact ejected Shah from the vehicle, as he was not secured in a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Unfortunately, Shah died at the scene.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal accident. Investigators encourage witnesses to cooperate as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
