Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Country Village Road near Vesada Way

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (December 20, 2019) – A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening in Jurupa Valley.
 
The fatal incident happened around 10:20 p.m., in the 3300 block of Country Village Road near Vesada Way.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available. Due to the impact of the collision, the victim died at the scene. The Riverside County Coroners later identified her as Suzanne Schneider, 64, of Jurupa Valley.
 
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the vehicle waited for authorities to arrive. Officials say they cooperated with the investigation.
 
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The incident remained under investigation.
