30-Year-Old Soledad Woman Hospitalized after Accident near Rock Bridge
MERCED COUNTY, CA March 22, 2018) – Two people were injured in a car accident on Highway 152 near or on the Rock Bridge, on Thursday evening around 9 PM.
30-year-old Suzanna Townsend of Soledad, was driving in a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica eastbound on the 152 freeway, when she crashed into a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by a 19-year-old Sophia Guade of San Jose.
Firefights and emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the collision to find one of the vehicles overturned on the right-hand shoulder, and the other with severe damages. California Highway Patrol Officer Wyatt Foster stated that Townsend suffered a broken left leg, and was transported by a Riggs ambulance to the Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for treatment and evaluation. Gaude complained of lower back pain.
Two lanes of the highway were blocked while authorities investigated the cause of the crash. They rep[emed about an hour later. No other information has been disclosed at this time,
