SUV Crashes into House in San Antonio Auto Accident on Drury Lane near Mango Avenue

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 15, 2023) – Sunday, a 12-year-old girl suffered injuries in an SUV crash on Drury Lane near Mango Avenue.

The incident occurred on Sunday at around midnight in the 300 block of Drury Lane near Mango Avenue. Moreover, the incident prompted the San Antonio Police Department and firefighters to respond to the scene.

According to reports, a driver lost control of his SUV and crashed into a 12-year-old girl’s bedroom at a home on the southside.

Following the crash, the driver fled the scene but was apprehended a few blocks away and taken into custody.

The SUV struck the room belonging to the young girl, who was inside at the time of the accident. While she suffered minor physical injuries, the psychological trauma weighed heavily on her, as per the first responders who evaluated her on the scene.

The driver, who wasn’t under the influence of alcohol at the time, is facing a charge of failure to stop and give information as he fled from the scene. Fortunately, nobody required hospitalization.
