Woman Seriously Hurt in Head-On Collision at Valley Forest Drive

Houston, TX (March 11, 2023) On Friday morning, a suspected DUI crash on Tidwell Road claimed the life of a man and injured a woman.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says that the head-on collision happened at around 5:17 a.m. on the 117000 block of Tidwell Road at Valley Forest Drive.

Reports say that a man on an eastbound white Chevy Malibu veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Chevy Camaro.

Officials believed that the 32-year-old man was either impaired or fatigue. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the female driver of the Camaro suffered serious injuries. Deputies say that the woman attempted to avoid collision, however, a concrete barrier hindered her.

Authorities are investigating the possible cause of the head-on collision.

Deputies closed Tidwell Road between Ticonderoga and John Ralston.
