Driver Arrested Following Suspected DUI Crash on Interstate 15 Near Westfield North County

 
Escondido, CA (December 18, 2020) – A driver was seriously injured after drunk driving that resulted to DUI crash on Interstate 15 on Wednesday night.
 
The incident took place on December 15 on Interstate 15 near Westfield North County at about 7:35 p.m.
 
According to a report, witnesses noticed the seemingly drunken driver in a 1994 Honda Accord traveling northbound on Interstate 15. Police said that the driver exited at Via Rancho Parkway before crashing into another vehicle.
 
Medics transported the suspected drunken driver to a hospital for surgery however, the severity of the injuries sustained is unknown.
 
Moreover, the other vehicles involved were identified as a Nissan Sentra and a Hyundai Sante Fe. Police said that other drivers involved complained of pain.
 
As of this moment, there was no other information available.
