Sukhjit Dhaliwal Killed, Larry Pearson Injured in East Keyes Road Crash [Keyes, CA]

Keyes, CA (July 30, 2021) – Last month, Sukhjit Dhaliwal, 56, died, and big rig driver Larry Pearson sustained injuries in an East Keyes Road crash.

Responding officers arrived at the accident scene at about 6:22 a.m., at the intersection with Mountain View Road, east of Keyes.

Investigating officers said the fatal Keyes crash involved a big rig and a sedan.

Unfortunately, the driver of the sedan, Sukhjit Dhaliwal of Turlock died in this accident. In addition, her passenger, Avtar Thiara, 58, sustained injuries in the crash. As a result, paramedics took her to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Meanwhile, officers say the accident resulted from Ms. Dhaliwal driving in the path of Pearson’s semi truck, which then overturned in attempts to avoid the Toyota.

Mr. Pearson, of Atwater, sustained moderate injuries, and thus went to Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
