Sukhjinder Kaur Killed in Fresno County Car Accident

Fresno, CA (August 23, 2020) – On Friday, 45-year-old Sukhjinder Kaur of Fresno was killed in an accident on the intersection of Temperance Avenue and Central Avenue.

The initial investigation found that the accident happened around 1:00 p.m at the crosswalk.

Police said Kaur drove in a Honda Civic north on Temperance Avenue when she missed a stop sign. As a result, she crashed with an Izuzu truck heading East on Central Avenue.

Moreover, the investigators said the collision wrecked the Honda’s passenger side.

Subsequently, authorities pronounced Kaur dead at the scene. Meanwhile, rescuers took her passenger to the Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the Izusu did not sustain any injuries.

Additionally, authorities said both parties were wearing seat belts during the incident. Lastly, the police did not consider alcohol or drugs as a factor for the crash.

Indeed, the investigation is still ongoing and additional details will be available after it is concluded.
