Reno Fatal Vehicle Crash
Reno, NV (September 30, 2021)– On Wednesday, a driver dies in a two-vehicle crash on McCarran Boulevard.
The fatal crash took place at around 10:11 p.m. near Plumb Lane.
Investigating officers said a Subaru was southbound on McCarran Boulevard. Suddenly, the driver attempted either to turn left at Plumb Lane or make a U-Turn.
A Chevrolet Tahoe sports utility vehicle t-boned the Subaru.
Unfortunately, the Subaru driver died at the accident scene.
The Tahoe rested in an NV Energy power box which knocked out power in the area. Its driver was not hospitalized.
The authorities said impairment does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
Officers are still investigating the two-vehicle crash on McCarran Boulevard.
