Two Arrested After Police Chase Incident near Enumclaw

AUBURN, WA (December 2, 2019) – A stolen car rammed a police vehicle in the 37500 block of 188th Avenue SE on late Monday evening.

According to reports, police arrested two people after a police chase incident near Enumclaw.

The reports showed that a deputy noticed a car parked very close to a gated property and stopped to check it out.

The car then rammed the gate and shoved the car into reverse and hit the deputy’s patrol car. It then sped from the scene and the deputy gave chase.

The high-speed pursuit went for about five miles before deputies were able to stop the car near 212th Ave SE and SE 436th street in Enumclaw.

Deputies learned the car had been stolen from Puyallup tribal land, according to Abbott. A man and a woman were arrested. Abbott said the deputy was uninjured in the incident.

Beware of stolen cars in the road. Stolen cars often display speed and get involved in disastrous accidents. As a result, it is important to drive defensively and always abide by all driving laws. In addition, avoid all distractions while driving.
