Morning Bicycle Accident in Stinson Beach Leads to Major Injuries

 
STINSON BEACH, CA (December 2, 2018) – A bicyclist was badly injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday morning in Stinson Beach.
 
The crash happened around 9:52 a.m. on Belvedere Avenue near Highway 1 and just in front of Stinson Beach Fire Station.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Saturn hit the bicyclist at the curve on the roadway. The impact left the biker with serious injuries to the shoulder and arm.
 
The patient was rushed to John Muir Medical Center in an unknown condition.
  
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
 
No additional information was provided at this time. An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
