Steven Wilson of Manteca Dead in E-Scooter Accident on N Airport Way [Manteca, CA]

1 Killed in Manteca Scooter Crash

Manteca, CA (April 23, 2025)Steven Wilson, a 57-year-old Manteca man, was killed in an e-scooter accident on N Airport Way Friday night.

The fatal collision happened past 8 p.m. near the 200 block area.

Wilson was riding an e-scooter and tried crossing to the west side of the street when he was struck by a car. 

Immediately, the rescuers rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead around 8:20 p.m

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. 

Investigators said Wilson’s brother and daughter were also riding scooters at the same time but stayed on the side of the road and were not involved in the collision.
