Steve Pruett and Felipe Sandoval Hurt in Los Banos DUI Head-On Crash on Ingomar Grade

 
LOS BANOS, CA (July 10, 2019) – Two people, including the suspect, suffered injuries after a DUI head-on crash on Ingomar Grade on July 8.
 
The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Ingomar Grade south of Cottonwood Road. 24-year-old Felipe Sandoval of Los Banos was traveled south. As Sandoval turned unsafely in his 1994 Honda, he crossed the double yellow line, collided head-on with 60-year-old Steve Pruett of Delhi in a 2006 Toyota.
 
The wreckage tapped Steve Pruett in his car until first responders came. Officers also found signs of intoxication in Sandoval. Hence, they arrested Felipe Sandoval on suspicion of DUI.
 
Meanwhile, Pruett sustained major injuries and Sandoval’s injuries are moderate. Responders airlifted them both to Modesto hospitals.
 
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
