1 Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Crash

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 18, 2019) – A person died in a pedestrian crash on Boulder Highway and Missouri Avenue on December 15.
 
Authorities arrested the driver, 41-year-old Stephen Huddleston, after he fled the scene. He’s also suspected of impairment.
 
The officers came to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Reports revealed that Huddleston in a silver 2003 BMW 540i ran a red light southbound on Boulder Highway at Missouri Avenue, near Tropicana Avenue. He then hit the pedestrian before crashing into a light pole down the street. Huddleston escaped, but officers located him nearby just south of the collision.
 
Meanwhile, 59-year-old passenger Zendell Huddleston went to Sunrise Hospital with minor injuries.
 
Responders also took the female pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital where she died.
 
Authorities shut down southbound Boulder Highway during investigation and clean-up.
