Stephanie Jackson Struck and Killed in Long Beach Hit and Run

 
Long Beach, CA (January 09, 2021) – On Friday, Stephanie Jackson, 54, died in a tragic hit-and-run crash on Del Amo Boulevard and Cherry Avenue.
 
Officers responded to the scene at about 5:35 a.m. near San Antonio Drive, wherein a vehicle crashed into a fence near the sidewalk.
 
While investigating the scene, authorities found an unresponsive female adult amid the debris.
 
Unfortunately, the woman, now identified as Ms. Jackson, lost her life at the scene.
 
Officers withheld her identity pending notification until they notified her family members.
 
Furthermore, police said the woman may have been homeless.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver and passenger fled the scene on foot.
