Stefano Albano Dies in DUI Motorcycle Crash on Laguna Canyon Road [Laguna Beach, CA]

Laguna Beach, CA (August 09, 2021) – On Saturday, 55-year-old motorcyclist, Stefano Albano, a Corona resident, died, and police arrested 68-year-old Becky Merrifield Ettinger of Huntington Beach, in a DUI motorcycle crash on Laguna Canyon Road,

The deadly crash took place at about 10:15 p.m.,near the 2300 block area.

Officers said Albano was riding his motorcycle when he attempted to pass a trio of vehicles in front of him. As he did, Ettinger suddenly made a U-turn in front of him.

As a result, Albano slammed into Ettinger’s vehicle, and died at the scene.

The authorities arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
