State Route 49 Traffic Collision Injures 68-Year-Old Anthony Warren [San Andreas, CA]

Kristy Arroyo Injured in SR 49 Three-Vehicle Collision

San Andreas, CA (March 31, 2022) – On Thursday, Anthony Warren, 68, of Altaville and Kristy Arroyo, 31, of Placerville, sustained injuries in a State Route 49 traffic collision.

Officers said the traffic incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. at the Pool Station Road intersection.

According to the investigators, Arroyo was behind the wheel of a 2006 Mercedes sedan when she failed to notice that there were two vehicles stopped in front of her vehicle.

 As a result, she rear-ended the 2006 Subaru SUV driven by Warren. 

Afterward, Warren’s vehicle rear-ended a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup driven by David Romaine, 58, of Manteca, who was turning left turn onto Pool Station Road.

Immediately, the emergency rescuers airlifted Warren with moderate injuries. The paramedics treated Arroyo’s minor injuries at the scene. 

The CHP says they do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in this traffic collision.
