PALM DESERT, CA (August 29, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a startling two-vehicle crash on Monterey Avenue and Magnesia Falls Drive injured five people.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 2:00 p.m. on Monterey Avenue and Magnesia Falls Drive.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, two vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported a total of five people to a hospital, all in critical condition.

Furthermore, the crash closed northbound Monterey Avenue and Magnesia Falls Drive for several hours but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department continued to investigate the crash.
