Injuries Reported in Fresno Auto Accident on Highway 99 and Cedar Avenue

FRESNO, CA (June 5, 2023) – Saturday night, a startling rollover crash on Highway 99 and Cedar Avenue injured 3 teenagers.

The California Highway Patrol revealed that the incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on Highway 99 and Cedar Avenue.

Upon their arrival, they determined that three teenagers in a Chevy Silverado had veered into a Toyota Tacoma hauling a trailer on the freeway.

The 17-year-old Silverado driver lost control of the truck. As a result, the vehicle overturned and went down an embankment.

Meanwhile, one of the teens, a female juvenile, failed to wear her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Thus, she was ejected from the truck as it overturned.

According to investigators, the Silverado crashed through an electric fence and hit two RVs at the RV Country parking lot.

Then, all three teens suffered moderate to major injuries and were then transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
