Injuries Reported in Austin Auto Accident on 10600 Jollyville Road

AUSTIN, TX (March 19, 2025) – Tuesday morning, an officer sustained injuries in a startling police chase crash on 10600 Jollyville Road.

The incident happened at about 5:35 a.m. in the 10600 block of Jollyville Road.

Austin police say officers responded to a report of someone breaking into a parking lot gate. As officers arrived, the suspect drove away, prompting a short police chase. The pursuit was called off when the suspect vehicle entered the wrong way on MoPac Expressway.

During the chase, the suspect vehicle collided with an APD patrol car in the 11200 block of North MoPac Expressway service road northbound. The officer was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say two suspects ran from the scene on foot. One was arrested, while the other remains at large.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
