FRESNO, CA (September 24, 2024) – Monday morning, a woman suffered injuries in a startling pedestrian crash on Willow Avenue and Laurel Avenue.

The crash happened at 6:30 a.m. on Willow Avenue and Laurel Avenue in southeast Fresno.

Video from the scene captured officers assisting the victim into an ambulance, while a wheelchair remains abandoned on the road. The woman, who was transported by ambulance, is reported to be in critical condition. After the ambulance departed, the wheelchair was still on the roadway. 

Moreover, the car’s driver remained at the scene and spoke with police, though the identities of those involved have not been officially disclosed.
