YUMA COUNTY, AZ (October 9, 2023) – Friday night, a startling pedestrian crash on 2400 S Avenue B injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:44 p.m. in the 2400 block of S Avenue B.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, a car struck a young pedestrian who ran across the road into the path of the vehicle.

As a result, paramedics airlifted the victim to a Phoenix-area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
