5 People Hospitalized in Odessa Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5000 Interstate 20

ODESSA, TX (September 18, 2025) – Tuesday night, a startling multi-vehicle crash on 5000 Interstate 20 injured five people.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 7:24 p.m. in the 5000 block of Interstate 20.

According to the Odessa Police Department, an eastbound tan 18-wheeler failed to control speed and struck a white Dodge Ram 2500. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Dodge to collide with a white Ford F-350 while the 18-wheeler struck a green Ford Mustang.

Moreover, a gray Infiniti SUV struck a red 18-wheeler while the Mustang crashed into a guardrail.

Furthermore, responders transported a total of five people to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Odessa Police Department continued investigating the crash.
