ENCINO, CA (September 26, 2023) – Sunday morning, a startling multi-vehicle crash on 101 Freeway near Hayvenhurst Avenue injured two people.

The incident happened at around 12:40 a.m. on the eastbound 101 Freeway near Hayvenhurst Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident started when a CHP officer pulled over a vehicle for a traffic stop. Also, the crash involved multiple vehicles, including a CHP unit and a driver who attempted to flee the scene after the crash.

Moreover, officers confirmed that at least two people were hospitalized after the crash.
