BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 14, 2025) – Sunday morning, a startling motorcycle crash on 13300 Highway 178 injured 2 people.

The incident involving a motorcycle and an SUV happened at about 9:38 a.m. on 13300 Highway 178.

Police said a man and a woman on a motorcycle suffered major injuries in a crash on Highway 178. Both were taken to a hospital in critical condition.

According to investigators, the motorcycle and a Honda CR-V were traveling eastbound when the driver of the Honda attempted a U-turn, leading to the collision.
