Injuries Reported in Forest Hill Auto Accident on Mansfield Highway and Hartman Road
FOREST HILL, CA (December 17, 2023) – Thursday, a startling hit-and-run crash on Mansfield Highway and Hartman Road injured 1 person.
The incident happened on Mansfield Highway and Hartman Road.
According to some witnesses, a blue Dodge failed to yield at a stop sign on Hartman Road, leading to the crash.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses revealed that two males escaped the scene on foot after the crash. Forest Hill Police officers spotted blood on the passenger side airbag, making them suspect that there were possible facial injuries.
After searching the surrounding area, officers found the two males matching the provided descriptions. Then, they confirmed that one of the males sustained facial injuries consistent with the blood observed in the Dodge. They also discovered that he had Dodge keys that matched the vehicle involved in the accident.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat a female involved in the accident. Then, she was subsequently taken by Medstar for medical care. Meanwhile, the two males, however, refused medical treatment.
Furthermore, the authorities arrested both individuals on charges related to the accident causing injuries.
