2 People Arrested in Startling Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 10 and Hildebrand Avenue [San Antonio, TX]

2 in Custody in San Antonio Auto Accident on Interstate 10 and Hildebrand Avenue

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 13, 2023) – Thursday morning, authorities arrested two people following a startling hit-and-run crash on Interstate 10 and Hildebrand Avenue.

The incident started at around 7:00 a.m. after an SUV ran a red light at Interstate 10 and Hildebrand Avenue.

According to reports, the SUV collided with another vehicle for still unknown reasons. Then, two occupants of the SUV, a man, and a woman, fled the scene on foot o a nearby restaurant called El Puerto de Mazatlan.

Moreover, officers arrived at the restaurant and arrested the woman who hid in the women’s bathroom while the man was found at the ceiling of the men’s bathroom.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
