ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, CA (May 15, 2025) – Friday night, a startling hit-and-run crash on Crenshaw Boulevard near 10 Freeway injured one person.

The incident happened at around 10:35 p.m. on Crenshaw Boulevard north of the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a southbound pickup truck struck a 23-year-old female pedestrian who was walking in a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with severe injuries.

Furthermore, the city offered a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the hit-and-run suspect.
