Suspect Still At Large after Los Angeles Two-Vehicle Accident near Canyon High School

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 10, 2023) – Early Monday, a startling hit-and-run crash near Canyon High School hurt Sean Cowan.

The incident occurred at about 6:15 a.m. as the 17-year-old victim drove to Canyon High School. Then, an eastbound truck swerved into his lane.

As a result, the teenager veered to the left to avoid a head-on crash. Then, the two vehicles side-swept each other.

Eventually, the suspect’s vehicle overturned onto the curb and landed on its side. Then, reports revealed that the suspect escaped on foot from the vehicle.

“Sean ended up parked in the dirt and he called us,” said the victim’s father. “He was pretty shaken up and I called the deputies.”

When the deputies arrived, they began investigating the crash. Meanwhile, the authorities described the suspect as a Hispanic male. The vehicle he drove had the license plate 5C69899.
