Driver Arrested after DUI Crash on 35th and Dunlap Avenue in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (May 9, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a Valley couple is left dealing with the damage after a truck crashed into their apartment on 35th and Dunlap Avenue.
The crash on 35th and Dunlap Avenue happened around 5 a.m. on May 6.
Phoenix Police said the driver slammed the truck into their apartment near 35th and Dunlap avenues and cited a 30-year-old on several DUI-related charges including reckless driving.
Tania Fraga said a person drove a truck into the bedroom where she, her boyfriend, and their one-year-old daughter were sleeping.
The family was displaced and had to deal with the damages of the aftermath. The family set up an online fundraiser to help them recover.
