Injuries Reported in San Francisco Bus Accident on Third Street and Palou Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 29, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling bus crash on Third Street and Palou Street injured 4 people.
Reports said that the incident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on Third Street and Palou Street.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found two buses involved. The SFFD reported that one bus appeared to have leaked oil, while the other collided with an electrical box.
Both bus drivers, along with two pedestrians waiting at the bus stop, were transported to the hospital with “minor injuries.” The SFFD noted that the pedestrians were not hit by the bus during the incident.
Nearby drivers were advised to expect delays, as SFFD units remained on-site until services could resume.
Services were restored around 6:20 p.m.
