1 Person Hospitalized in San Francisco Bicycle Accident on Seventh Avenue and Balboa Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 9, 2024) – Monday night, a startling bicycle crash on Seventh Avenue and Balboa Street injured one person.

Reports revealed that the incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on Seventh Avenue and Balboa Street.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, a car struck a bicyclist for unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the child who was riding the bike with an adult, to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Seventh Avenue and disrupted the Muni 31 bus’ service. All lanes have long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the SFPD continued to investigate the crash.
