Injuries Reported in Burbank Vehicle Crash on 134 Freeway and Alameda Avenue

BURBANK, CA (April 29, 2024) – Friday afternoon, a startling auto accident on 134 Freeway and Alameda Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on westbound lanes of 134 Freeway at Alameda Avenue.

“It was like a Hollywood movie, like flipping end over end. It was crazy. I’ve never seen an accident like that in my life,” recounted Josh, who witnessed the crash.

Josh revealed that he noticed a blue Mercedes speeding and weaving in and out of traffic just moments before the collision occurred.

According to Josh, when the driver of the Mercedes made a sudden maneuver, they crashed with a white SUV, causing it to clip the corner of a dump truck. The impact subsequently led to the SUV flipping and overturning.

“There was just a whole explosion of debris. I saw the car start to roll, and I was like ‘Oh, God. Oh, God.’ As soon as I got past the accident, I just pulled over as carefully as I could and called 911,” Josh added.

Good Samaritans rushed to the aid of the SUV driver, who was then transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Reflecting on the incident, Josh noted a close call that occurred just moments before the crash, remarking, “You can see there was somebody on the side of the road, I think trying to fix a tire or something… The Mercedes that ended up causing the accident barely missed that person.”

Expressing shock at the severity of the crash, Josh emphasized the dangers of speeding, stating, “What do you save like 30 seconds… 40 seconds? I bet you the person in that Mercedes wishes they could rewind time and undo what they did and just never drive like that.”

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
