Injuries Reported in Monterey County Auto Accident on San Juan Grade Road near Crazy Horse Canyon Road
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (June 20, 2024) – Wednesday, a startling 2-vehicle crash on San Juan Grade Road injured 1 person.
The incident happened when two vehicles crashed, knocking down power lines along San Juan Grade Road near Crazy Horse Canyon Road.
Following the collision between two vehicles, the CHP confirmed that one vehicle overturned in the area, causing live wires to fall.
Despite a brush fire starting, quick action from responders contained the blaze, according to the CHP. Fortunately, DUI was ruled out as a contributing factor in the crash.
Moreover, one individual sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
As of now, no evacuations have been deemed necessary.
