Injuries Reported in Chico Traffic Crash on Garner Lane and Kathy Lane

CHICO, CA (May 16, 2024) – Tuesday night, a startling 2-vehicle accident on Garner Lane and Kathy Lane injured 2 people.

The crash happened at around 9:00 p.m. on Garner Lane and Kathy Lane in Chico.

According to reports, a black GMC was headed north on Garner Lane. Then, a red Honda Civic was approaching the intersection of Garner and Kathy Lane without their headlights on.

As a result, they crashed and spun out. Officers said that the Civic spun out into a lawn, and the GMC spun out into a fence. 

Moreover, the Civic driver exited out of the car, CHP Chico added. She was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. 

Furthermore, two people in the GMC were transported to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
