Stacey Paz Killed in Carmel Valley Road Crash [Carmel, CA]

Carmel, CA (September 09, 2021) – On Friday, Stacey Paz of Northridge, dies, while Milton Pineda-Vacere, also of Northridge, suffered injuries in a crash on Carmel Valley Road.

The fatal crash took place at about 9:30 p.m. at Rio Road.

Reports said Paz and Pineda-Vacere were involved in a non-injury accident on Carmel Valley Road which prompted them to get out of the vehicle.

They were standing in the roadway when an eastbound car along Carmel Valley Road rear-ended their stopped vehicle and pushed it forward to them. 

Unfortunately, Paz was pinned under the car and died at the scene. 

On the other hand, rescuers rushed Pineda-Vaceres to Natividad Medical Center for his injuries.

Reports said the authorities did not arrest the involved driver in this fatal crash.

Meanwhile, officers do not consider drugs nor alcohol as factors in this crash, though they are still investigating the incident.
