South Indiana Street Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Man [Boyle Heights, CA]

Boyle Heights, CA (April 15, 2022) – On Tuesday, at about 8 p.m., a man died in a South Indiana Street hit-and-run crash.

Reports said the man was eastbound crossing the street at the corner of Dennison Street near Salazar Park.

Suddenly, he was struck by a vehicle that drove westbound on Olympic Boulevard after the crash.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian lost his life at the accident scene. Officers withheld his identity pending notification of kin.

Meanwhile, officers said the suspect vehicle is a dark-colored 1997 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee with black rims. They say it has extensive damage to its front end and a broken driver’s side headlight
