Tacoma, WA (September 2, 2023) On Friday afternoon, 2 people died in a solo-vehicle crash on SR 16 eastbound at milepost 9.3 near Toll Plaza.
According to WSDOT Tacoma, the tragic accident happened around 2:04 p.m.
Reports say that a collision happened near the Toll Plaza, officials say that no toll booth workers were hurt in the incident.
WSP are investigating the probable cause of the collision and have not released additional information at this time.
