According to Houston PD, the fatal car-tree collision happened at around 12:12 a.m. on the 9100 block of South Dairy Ashford Road.
Reports say that a car struck a tree, killing one occupant and seriously injuring another. Officials say that a man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
